Fresh Partners Demonstration Farm Eurep Gap certified

We are proud to inform you that our recently established demonstration farm in Ratchaburi province has received the Eurep Gap certificate. The 10.000 m2 occupying demonstration is located next to our Post Harvest Center in Ratchaburi province.

In July 2004 we started with the first preparations to set up the demonstration farm. Due to combined efforts and our excellent staff 10 months later the demonstration farm is fully operational and Eurep Gap certified. To our knowledge it is the first demonstration farm to receive the Eurep Gap certificate in Thailand.
The demonstration farm will be used as a tool to educate our contract farmers about food safety and quality assurance systems, get them familiar with new production techniques and improve their overall production and quality.
The demonstration farm consists of 6 fields with different modern irrigation systems and cultivation techniques. Furthermore there is a newly constructed farm building which is used for the storage of farm equipment, grading products and meetings with the contract farmers.

Besides improving the production practices of the contract farmers the demonstration farm is also used to do field tests to compare different cultivars and production systems. Constantly we are on the look out for new developments, which we can demonstrate on the demonstration farm, that could be interesting for our contract farmers or which may improve the quality of the products. In the long term we are confident that our contract farmers will benefit from their increased knowledge and improved cultivation techniques and that our customers will receive even better quality and safer products form our contract farmers.
